TROPHY & BIRD HUNTING

The entire game farm consists of 880ha of typical Northern Natal terrain and has 8km’s of waterfront of the spectacular Bivane River.

The unique blend of bushveld and highveld creates the opportunity for nature lovers to view more than 20 species of mammal, including Eland, Kuku, Red Hartebeest, Giraffe and Buffalo, with over 1,000 head of game. We are also fortunate to have the endangered Oribi on our farm.

Birding is also very rewarding and the area is home to numerous species. One of the highlights is the Bald Ibis nesting site. Fish Eagles, Martial Eagles, Blue Cranes, Secretary Birds and many others are often spotted.

The area is malaria-free and the clean, clear water and air have a bracing effect on health and vitality. At 1,320m above sea level, the climate is mild, yet stimulating with warm summers and invigorating winters.

The Game Ranch also has a rich and diverse insect and plant population and is situated in a historically, ethnically interesting area.
